This pink bourbon from La Esperanza is a dream come true —beautifully clean, fruited coffee at a low price point from a nearly bygone era. We're thrilled to have a coffee like this, and we have enough to roast both as filter and a single-origin espresso. Esperanza's delicious apricot and subtle tropical and citrus flavors make it a slam dunk.
La Esperanza is 5.5 hectare farm in Huila, Colombia, growing primarily pink bourbon and caturra. This lot was depulped and dry fermented for approximately 48 hours. After a triple wash, the coffee dried in a greenhouse for approximately two weeks.
Huge thank you to our good friend Stephen at The Coffee Quest for sourcing and milling this coffee for us.
