The Laniakea is made from 450gsm recycled Japanese cotton which features a super soft and cosy handfeel, whilst remaining lightweight and not bulky. Retro, classic touches include contrast weave at the neckline cross-hatch and ribbed cuffs, hem and neckline. There is no external branding, just a classic shape and peerless quality.
Sunray Sportswear Sweats are luxurious, heavyweight and durable, offering traditional production and fits. They are designed to be worn and worn again and will age gracefully age with you. T-shirts come unbranded, no logos and no fashion statements, which in turn equates to no landfill.
The sweats are produced on an antique loopwheel knitting machine in Japan. One of only 2 left in the world and this allows for the tee to have no side seam, whilst the slow knitting process produces no stress on the yarn so it will almost never go out of shape. The machine is analogue, taking over 1 hour to produce just 1m of jersey. Each garment takes over 1.5 hours to make.
