Tweed Emphasize Scarf - Indigo
A fabric designed by Gerd Hay-Edie and made famous by Irish fashion designer Sybil Connolly as part of her 1956 Spring collection, the Tweed Emphasize Scarf is an exquisite example of mid-century style.
These scarves are woven on vintage shuttle looms in the brand's workshop at the foothills of the Mourne Mountains in Northern Ireland. Their Hattersley looms, first developed in 1919, are tried and tested over decades, creating a rich weave and woven selvedge. The scarf designs and colours are inspired by the landscape of the Mourne peninsula.
