A happy pooch and his birthday balloons. Joyfully illustrated by London-based illustrator Alice Bowsher in bright colours and her signature black, brush line work.
Alice describes her distinctive, mostly monochrome work as “cute but not too cutesy.” She creates her sweet cast of people and critters using black ink and brushes, and her original approach to character design bears the marks of her artistic heroes Dick Bruna and Tove Jansson.
