Garment dyeing is a process in which a garment is cut and sewn and then dyed in order to achieve its final form. It is a beautifully delicate art that creates super soft clothing with a rich, tonal palette. This particular fabric is a Cotton/Linen blend and has a herringbone weave. Named for its distinctive chevron pattern, Herringbone is a staple fabric used liberally during WWII as the fabric of choice for GI's.
